1Specification
This exercise requires an audit of a carefully selected site which demonstrates the design of cycling -focused infrastructure. The audit will include description, review and comparison with guidelines and standards.
This assignment requires you to:
•Identify from your own observation one example of cycle-specific infrastructure;
•Describe your example, including a sketch, photographs or other illustrations;
•Compare your example with cases identified in the literature or good practice guidelines to demonstrate evidence of good practice in design;
•Provide a critical review including reference to design weaknesses and possible improvements.
The specific objectives of this coursework assignment are:
