Introduction to Tissue Engineering
ESSAY:
You will be required to write an essay on an assigned topic (see list below) that will be a maximum of 25-30 pages typed (double spaced, 12 point font, 1” margins). This page count does not include any figures or references.
The essay should contain–at minimum–three (3) sections including an introduction (overview of the area or problem, why it is important, general concepts in the area), body (discussion of the past and present of the field or topic), and summary/future considerations (summarize what you found on the topic and what should be, or is yet to be, investigated in the future).

PRESENTATION:
You will be required to give a summary presentation to the class based on your essay topic. Presentations will be a maximum of 15 minutes. Your presentation should follow the same minimum format as the Essay (see above). After your presentation, there will be a brief question period (5 minutes) during which you will be asked questions by the rest of the class and/or myself. Members of the class as well as myself will evaluate your presentation.
